- Medical Transcription is an IT enabled service, converting the received voice data dictated by doctors or medical professionals consisting of information like patients’ history, clinical notes, consultation, admission / discharge information, various reports, medical advises, etc into electronic documents.
- This job can be undertaken home based with the essential equipment like a personal computer with relevant accessories and peripherals, required hardware, software, medical dictionary, etc.
- A graduate with a good command over English can plan to become a medical transcriptionist.
- The duration of training varies as per listening, writing / typing skills and basic knowledge on computers.
- The earning depends on the performance.
